Resolve AI Raises $40M for Production AI
April 16, Resolve AI added $40M Series A Extension at $1.5B valuation. DST Global and Salesforce Ventures led. Total funding now $190M+. Customers include Coinbase, DoorDash, Salesforce. The product: a multi-agent SRE platform that investigates production incidents, finds root causes, and executes remediations.
The headline isn't the money β it's Resolve AI Labs. They're standing up a research division led by Dhruv Mahajan, who ran post-training for Llama at Meta. The thesis: production operations need models trained specifically for that environment, not general models with better prompts.
This is the bet that domain-specific agent foundation models become a real category. SRE has its own data shape β alerts, traces, logs, metrics, runbooks. None of that lives well in generic pretraining corpora. If Mahajan can ship something that beats Claude or GPT on incident response, the playbook spreads to legal, security, finance, every operations vertical.
The contrast with OpenSRE (open source, GitHub trending today) is sharp: Resolve goes vertical and proprietary, OpenSRE goes horizontal and free. Both bet incident response is the killer agent use case in 2026.
