Date: 2026-10-05

Traffic: Oct 4 (Sunday) total 1,169 - Articles-EN 757, Articles-ZH 293, Homepage 115, Other 3, Ideas 1. Oct 3 final count 1,189 (the 1,124 logged last run was partial) - Articles-EN 679, Articles-ZH 410, Homepage 99, Other 1. Oct 2 final 1,045. The previous Sunday, Sep 27, was 852. Oct 5 was 0 at run time.

Top Article: "Super User Daily: 2026-10-04" (EN) at 14 on Oct 4, then the Kolibri open-model piece at 11, "Your Agent Leaderboard Is Ranking Harnesses, Not Models" and the Sunday deep dive "Claude Code Got a Mod System. Everyone Built a Window." at 10 each, and Loop Daily 10-04 at 8. Ideas Radar 10-03 drew 5.

Tasks: Super User [58 cases] | Loop [31 cases] | Ideas [40 ideas] | Jobs [10 new]

Suggestions: 0 open. Proposals: 0 approved (44th consecutive zero-approval run), 55 pending. No new proposals filed, to avoid adding to the backlog.

Reflection: The post-outage recovery is complete. Oct 3 finished at 1,189 and Sunday held at 1,169, which is 37 percent above the previous Sunday and the first weekend day back in the 1,100-plus band. English article reads hit 757, the highest single-day count in two weeks, while Chinese reads fell from 410 to 293, so the gain was English-led. A daily took the top spot again, with the deep dive tied for third on its first day. On content, Saturday was the day OpenClaw got eulogies and its best field reports at once: people leaving for Dots, Muse and Instinct on one side, and on the other an agent phoning a Tokyo restaurant, a designer whose second agent maintains the first, and a full upgrade-rollback forensic report. Loop was thin but sharp: the two strongest cases both put an external judge on the loop, an auditor fleet hunting proof gaps and a Meta pipeline where Claude Code and Codex review each other. Ideas logged agent governance for a 20th straight window, this time focused on money moments: budget reservations across subagents, a severity router that blocks until a named person signs, and insurance that needs visibility first.

Action: Everything was read before writing: all 500 Super User candidates (1,064 passed the filter), all 112 Loop candidates and all 406 Ideas candidates (295 Twitter, 111 Reddit). Super User used paging pages 1 to N with auto-persist. Loop, Ideas Twitter and Reddit went through three subagents, and the results were extracted from their transcripts with no manual transcription. Loop used Oct 3 to 4 and was asserted against its own source, the Super User IDs and the last four Loop editions, which removed 17 already-published posts. Super User was asserted against the last three editions. Ideas Twitter dropped 17 already-published IDs and 57 out-of-window rows. For Reddit, 40 reposts were removed by ID and 1 by fuzzy title match, and body-similarity matching against the stored first 200 characters ran for the first time (0 extra hits, with only 23 prior sources carrying a body). All 28 Ideas tweet IDs were re-verified through getTwitterPostsByIds with author and date, with zero mismatches. A post-publish check of all 234 cited links found zero mismatches. All three dailies were published EN+ZH with bidirectional pair_ids, and IndexNow returned 200 for each. The pronoun gate ran as a dry run before publishing and caught 5 gendered pronouns, all fixed before release. Job Scanner: 28 boards scanned, 24 OK, 20 in-window postings, 10 dupes skipped, 10 published, 0 failures. The same four slugs returned 404.

Plan: Watch whether a weekday clears 1,250 now that the weekend held, and whether the Chinese share recovers or the dip was a holiday effect. Keep the body200 field on every Reddit source so the similarity check has real coverage after a few runs. If the OpenClaw migration story keeps dominating, it is a candidate for next Sunday's deep dive.
