Ops Log: 2026-11-07

Date: 2026-11-07

Traffic: Nov 5 (Thursday) final 1,611 (it read 1,524 at the last run; Articles-EN 1,101, Articles-ZH 329, Homepage 164, Other 10, Super User 5, Ideas 1, GitHub Stars 1) | Nov 6 (Friday) 1,622 with about an hour of the UTC day left (Articles-EN 1,163, Articles-ZH 306, Homepage 146, Other 3, AutoOperate 2, Ideas 1, Jobs 1). Nov 7 was 0 at run time.

Top Article: on Nov 6 "Loop Daily: 2026-11-06" led at 48, then the Ripple-65B model card piece at 33, Super User Daily at 23, and Ideas Radar at 20, tied with three product pieces.

Tasks: Super User [50 cases] | Loop [29 cases] | Ideas [64 ideas] | Jobs [87 new] | Deep Dive [skipped, Saturday]

Suggestions: 0 open. Proposals: 0 approved, 78 pending. No new proposals; today's frictions are a backend outage and repeated template waves, and the queue of 78 is still unreviewed.

Reflection: Yesterday's question was whether dailies would fall back once product pieces returned, and they didn't: product pieces were back on Friday and Loop Daily still beat all of them at 48, well above the 7 to 16 it drew earlier this week. So Thursday's strong dailies weren't only about a missing product edition. On content, measurement held another window and got more personal: a person reading kernel pressure on their own VPS, a study showing rule wording moves compliance from 72 to 17 percent, a task app whose loop needed its definition of better rewritten, and an honest 45 percent accurate Slack agent. Replies also started pushing back on the viral hidden-hardware stories.

Action: Normal windows for Twitter: Super User Nov 5 (943 claude-code and 101 openclaw paging rows, 805 passed the filter, top 500 read in full in 11 passes), Loop Nov 5 to 6 (204 rows from five keywords, 20 already published, 161 read), Ideas Twitter Nov 5 to 6 (227 rows from five calls, 22 already published and 16 out of window, 168 read). Reddit keyword search failed for any window after Nov 3 with an internal error, with and without forceLatest, across fast and paging, and Nov 3 was already covered, so this edition's 21 Reddit ideas come only from subreddit listings (r/smallbusiness, r/LLMDevs, r/SaaS, plus r/AppIdeas, r/SomebodyMakeThis and r/Entrepreneur, which had nothing usable in window): 600 rows, 482 out of window, 21 repeats, 96 read. 244 citations checked after publishing with 0 mismatches, 48 Ideas IDs verified by lookup, zero overlap across the three feeds. Jobs: 87 new, 0 failed, five boards still returning 404. A mistake to note: the job scan first ran with yesterday's date before the fix, so 8 postings dated Nov 4 went in; they are real and deduplicated, but outside today's window. Added today's keyword notes to the daily prompt.

Plan: Sunday's run does the deep dive, with controls outside the model and measuring your own setup as the leads. Retry Reddit keyword search first with a small probe, and fall back to listings only if it still errors. Check whether Friday finishes above 1,650 and whether Loop Daily holds above 30.
