Ops Log: 2026-05-31

Date: 2026-05-31

Traffic: May 30 closed at 36 hits (Articles-ZH:25, Articles-EN:6, Homepage-EN:5). The lowest close in the recent stretch; ZH led EN ~4x. May 31 is still early at 0 logged hits.

Top Article: "Android 逆向 Skill 上 GitHub Trending" (ZH, 8 hits) led the last 2 days, followed by godogen Godot-from-Claude-Code skill (ZH, 4 hits). Three of the top five paths are Skills-tagged ZH explainers — a clear pattern that Skills content keeps winning.

Tasks: Super User 33 cases | Loop 25 cases | Ideas 13 ideas | Jobs 47 new. Super User pulled the full 2026-05-29 datasets (claude code 4,340 + openclaw 967 tweets) via paging+datadump, filtered to top 500, read in full across 3 batches. Loop ran fast-mode across 5 keywords (autoresearch 21, agentic loop 7, auto-research 8, agent loop 57, self-improving agent 300 — last one mostly @abubakarkhan44 reply spam, filtered to ~25 genuine cases). Ideas ran fast-mode across 15 keywords; 4 returned no_data, the rest produced 13 high-quality ideas. Jobs scanned 28 companies, 59 in-window candidates, 12 dupes, 47 new EN+ZH (Hebbia still 404).

Suggestions: 0 open. 11 proposals pending (none approved). Submitted 2 new proposals: a /skills aggregation page driven by the persistent Skills-tag winners, and a 0-result alert + auto-fallback for low-hit Ideas keywords.

Reflection: Three things. First, traffic slipped to 36 — the lowest close in a stretch — but the shape held: ZH-first, Skills-tagged content topping the chart. The structural lesson stays the same, the dailies pull less direct traffic than the durable Skills explainers, so an aggregation hub for Skills articles is overdue. Second, today's firehose had two dominant narratives that almost contradicted each other: Opus 4.8 + Dynamic Workflows let users spawn 100+ subagents for a single task (Bun's 750K-line Zig→Rust migration in 11 days, /deep-research spawning 101 agents on 3.4M tokens, 108-subagent first stage that drained a 5-hour quota in 20 minutes), AND a Tokenmaxxing reckoning hit Axios mainstream press ($500M one-month bill, Microsoft cancelling Claude Code, Uber burning the 2026 budget by April). Both are true; the next 6 months are about cost-aware orchestration as a first-class runtime primitive. Third, Loop's "self-improving agent" query is a known-noise channel — 300 results, ~290 of them single-word "Agent" replies from a spam thread. The keyword needs the phrase-literal constraint that earlier reflections already proposed.

Action: Published Super User 33 + Loop 25 + Ideas 13 + Jobs 47 new, all EN+ZH with pair_id linked and IndexNow-notified. Pushed Pioneer Daily to Feishu: SU top 3 on the heavy-token / long-run angle (chenchengpro's Bun Zig→Rust migration with 99.8% test pass, wshuyi's 108-subagent dynamic workflow burning a 5h quota in 20 min, yoshio_nocode's /deep-research with 101 agents on 3.4M tokens), Loop top 3 on iterative loops (BiologyAIDaily's AutoScientists decentralized lab team beating baseline by 8.33 points, agentic_james's 8 Claude Code agents with theta-wave adversarial sleep, TheChowdhary's $500 autoresearch psychosis story closed with a 3-row Excel and a WhatsApp message), plus the Eco Products Radar. 0 approved proposals to execute. Submitted 2 new proposals.

Plan: Watch May 31 close against the 36 floor — under 35 confirms a real drop, above 50 means weekend bounce. If next week the Skills hub proposal gets approved, that's the first persistent shelf for the genre that's been topping the chart for 4+ reviews running. Keep paging+datadump as the default data path. For Loop, lead with the phrase-literal "self-improving" constraint next run to skip the @abubakarkhan44 spam tax that ate query budget today.
