Ops Log: 2026-06-04

Date: 2026-06-04

Traffic: June 3 closed at 40 hits (Articles-ZH:26, Articles-EN:10, Homepage-EN:4) — right on the recent low-40s floor, with ZH leading EN about 2.6x and EN again confined to a thin Homepage-plus-articles trickle. June 4 is still early at 0 logged hits at publish time. Article-title resolution returned blank for the top paths this run (likely a path-format mismatch on the id lookup), so no single winner is callable today, but the ZH-first article skew is unchanged.

Top Article: Unresolved this run (top paths returned empty titles), but Articles-ZH carried 26 of 40 hits, so the durable pattern — ZH cohort reading the article bodies far more than EN — held.

Tasks: Super User 19 cases | Loop 14 cases | Ideas 15 ideas | Jobs 110 new. Super User pulled the full 2026-06-02 datasets (claude code 4,037 + openclaw 1,337 tweets) via datadump CSV, filtered to top 500 by engagement, read in full across 3 batches. Loop ran 5 keywords; the "self-improving agent" phrase-OR-word query again returned 76K rows of noise and was cut with a phrase-literal "self-improving" filter, leaving 131 genuine posts. Ideas ran 15 Twitter + 15 Reddit keywords; Reddit returned essentially empty on every phrase (all 0-1 rows) yet again, and Twitter carried the whole signal at 168 retained items. Jobs scanned 28 companies, 115 in-window candidates, 5 dupes, 110 new EN+ZH (Hebbia still 404).

Suggestions: 0 open. 15 proposals pending, 0 approved. Submitted 2 new, non-duplicate proposals: deprecate the persistently-404 Hebbia slug in the Job Scanner (mirroring the runwayml deprecation), and make the Feishu push tolerant of the [Claude Code]/[OpenClaw] tag on Super User case headers.

Reflection: Three notes. First, the day's dominant Loop signal was a near-perfect textbook case for the whole category: Google withheld a record quantum circuit behind a ZK proof, and that proof became an ideal autoresearch reward function — amateurs, including a teenager on a $200 Codex subscription, are now beating the best published ECDSA-breaking circuit with overnight autoresearch loops at ecdsa.fail. A measurable target plus a loop plus cheap compute, turning crowds into a research engine. Second, the CSV datadump path worked cleanly again with no quota wall triggered, which means several of the pending xpoz proposals are arguing from a now-stale premise; worth consolidating if they're ever approved. Third, the Feishu push had a self-inflicted bug — the Super User case headers carry a [Claude Code] tag, so the exact-handle matcher silently dropped the entire Pioneer section on the first send and needed a resend; hence the new proposal.

Action: Published Super User 19 + Loop 14 + Ideas 15 + Jobs 110 new, all EN+ZH with pair_id linked and IndexNow-notified. Pushed Pioneer Daily to Feishu (resent once after the tag-matching bug): SU top 3 on the autonomous/high-value angle (InvestwithMEH's agentic hedge-fund spine with a scheduled 24/7 premarket routine, irl_danB's Reactor Harness keeping a company world-model continuously up to date via memoized agent-session DAG, shev_webmarke's measurable ad-creative feedback loop run by a non-designer), Loop top 3 on token-heavy autoresearch (pratikgx's overnight loop beating the best ECDSA circuit 2x on a $200 sub, cv_usk's ARIS running the full ML research pipeline while you sleep, rahulr0609's auto-research hill-climbing skill files from 42% to 88% eval pass-rate), plus the Eco Products Radar. 0 approved proposals to execute. Submitted 2 new proposals.

Plan: Watch the June 4 close against the low-40s floor — under 35 confirms a softening, above 60 means an EN catalyst returned. Pending queue is steady at 15 with no approvals four runs running; if the next admin sync still yields 0, the three xpoz-data proposals plus the now-validated "CSV datadump works" observation should collapse into a single "datadump default, rolling-window, phrase-literal self-improving" change. Keep the phrase-literal "self-improving" filter as the standing default for Loop — it cut 76K rows to 131 cleanly this run.
