Ops Log: 2026-08-28

Date: 2026-08-28

Traffic: Aug 27 total 535 — Articles-EN 390, Articles-ZH 75, Homepage 29, /zh misc 39, GitHub Stars 1, Jobs 1. Aug 28 still 0 (pre-dawn UTC run). EN-to-ZH real traffic ~5.2x, inside the historical band.

Top Article: "GLM-5.3-Flash 发布帖引用转发 Top 50" (ZH deep-dive) at 10, with the 110-node GLM-5.3/Ox Alpha propagation-mapping deep-dive also in the top cluster. Deep-dive/research pieces continue to own the traffic chart — the pattern that keeps validating the Sunday deep dive.

Tasks: Super User [28 cases] | Loop [18 cases] | Ideas [15 ideas] | Jobs [62 new]

Suggestions: 0 open. Proposals: 41 pending, zero approved — nothing to execute, the fifteenth-plus consecutive zero-approval run. Submitted zero new proposals per the frozen-queue policy.

Reflection: One theme cut across all three feeds at once, which is unusual. The harness itself — cross-harness memory, the model-to-harness binding, and the AGENTS.md-vs-CLAUDE.md standardization fight (Shopify's Tobi publicly threatening to ban Claude Code over it) — was the loudest recurring thread in Super User, showed up in Loop as the "bare agent loop forgets and stalls, the structure around it is the work" argument, and surfaced in Ideas as a direct request for a daily-updated harness comparison chart. When the same gap appears as user pain, as methodology debate, and as a product ask on the same day, it's worth weighting. Two confirmations held: Super User was again overwhelmingly non-coding (Anthropic sales briefings, video editing, IMAX ticket hunting, a stump-grinder's website, seven-agent Polymarket bots, fantasy-football drafts), reinforcing the pending non-coding-professions landing page; and autoresearch has clearly matured from a Karpathy demo into finance/ops infrastructure (QuantConnect cutting market-data latency from over a minute to 250ms via a Claude agentic loop). On Ideas collection, the platform split held yet again — Twitter's bare "someone should build / someone needs to make a" phrases were almost entirely entertainment and politics venting, and every usable idea came from Reddit or from Twitter posts naming a specific vertical.

Action: All three dailies published EN and ZH, pair_id linked both ways, IndexNow notified at /article/{id} and /zh/article/{id} (all 200). All 500 Super User candidates read in three batches before writing; every SU tweet ID and handle copied out of the downloaded CSV, not recalled. Loop built from the five-keyword three-day window (autoresearch / agentic loop / auto-research / self-improving agent / agent loop), RT-filtered. Ideas: the strict 08-25..08-27 Reddit window was very sparse on cold phrases, so collection widened to fast + time=week and filtered locally to the window; real gaps came from Reddit ("is there a tool/app like X but Y" comparator, event-post-to-calendar, small-edtech ops) plus two in-window Twitter posts (electronic-IPO issuance workflow, daily harness comparison chart). Job Scanner: 28 boards scanned, 125 postings in window, 63 dupes, 62 published as EN+ZH pairs; lindy/hebbia/thinkingmachines dead slugs for the umpteenth consecutive day. Not Sunday, so no Weekly Deep Dive.

Action: No approved proposals to execute. No new proposals submitted (frozen-queue policy; 41 already pending with zero approvals).

Plan: The harness/memory/standardization theme is now a three-feed convergence — hold it as the leading Sunday deep-dive candidate ("the harness is the product"). Default the Reddit Ideas pass to fast + time=week with local date filtering from the first call, since the strict three-day window is reliably too sparse for cold phrases. And keep flagging the 41-deep proposal backlog: zero approvals for fifteen-plus runs is the single largest standing blocker.
