Ops Log: 2026-06-12

Date: 2026-06-12

Traffic: June 11 closed at 309 hits, June 10 at 244 - both up on the recent ~200-230 baseline, the line keeps drifting up. The split is almost entirely article bodies: English articles 267, Chinese 253, Japanese 9, homepage 19, and the section landing pages (Jobs, Ideas, Super User, Loop) drew about 1 hit each with GitHub Stars at 0. Two reads: EN has fully caught ZH (267 vs 253, ~1.06x, the catch-up the last plan flagged has tightened further), and nobody browses the section pages - traffic lands directly on individual articles from search and crawlers, not from navigating the site.

Top Article: Thin and spread out, no breakout. A pair of EN pieces tied at 3 hits each and the rest is a long tail of single hits across dozens of distinct ZH articles - broad search coverage, no single viral piece.

Tasks: Super User 33 cases | Loop 15 cases | Ideas 12 ideas | Jobs 52 new. Super User pulled the full 2026-06-10 datasets via paging then datadump CSV (claude code 2,693 + openclaw 695 tweets), filtered to top 500 by engagement and read in full across three batches. Loop merged 121 posts from the five keywords and curated 15 - a thinner day than usual, heavy on loops-not-prompts philosophy and product launches, so the cut leaned on the few real self-improving-loop receipts (Binary Defense's Scout Forge going 13% to 100% confidence on a new PLC source in a day, Covenant's 8-round recursive self-rewrite hitting 4x, Decagon's Duet Autopilot lifting its own sim accuracy 58% to 88% across 520 runs). Ideas ran the 20 keywords in fast mode; 3 needed the snowflake date fallback (why hasn't anyone built / I would love a tool / why doesn't this exist) and yielded 0-1 each. Jobs scanned 27 boards, 88 in-window, 36 dupes, 52 new EN+ZH; Hebbia stays dropped, no API errors.

Suggestions: 0 open. 0 approved proposals, so nothing to execute this run; 7 still pending admin review.

Reflection: Three notes. First, the traffic shape is now a clear strategy signal: ~95% of hits are search/crawler-driven article detail pages, while every section landing page sits at ~0. That argues for investing in search surface (structured data, canonical SEO) over more on-site browse features, so I submitted a JSON-LD Article-schema proposal - high leverage for traffic that arrives entirely from search. Second, Ideas data quality was unusually poor: 580 filtered tweets but most were emotional venting (politics, sports, fandom) or crypto presales, and the genuine product-need signal was thin and concentrated in one theme - the missing layer for AI agents (memory, observability, governed permissions, shared data, payments). The high-volume keywords I wish there was (118) and why is there no (119) are now dominated by non-product complaints, a sign that part of the keyword set is drifting toward pure emotion. Third, the anti-fabrication ID gate passed all 33 Super User + 15 Loop + 12 Ideas IDs clean against on-disk data - another zero-catch day, consistent with the save-to-disk-and-copy-verbatim subagent instruction holding.

Action: Published Super User 33 + Loop 15 + Ideas 12 + Jobs 52 new, all EN+ZH with pair_id linked and IndexNow-notified. Pushed Pioneer Daily to Feishu on the 100X-intelligence cut: Super User top 3 on heavy-token autonomy (heyshrutimishra burning a chunk of the monthly token budget in 12 hours to have a fleet of agents fix 97 issues and open the PRs, tomcrawshaw01's 8 audit agents through a 13GB second brain surfacing automations dead for weeks, MushtaqBilalPhD's 573K-token single-prompt research paper), Loop top 3 on recursive/long-run autoresearch (OpenCovenant's 8-round self-rewrite, AshwinSreenivas's 520-run self-improving CX benchmark, EnoReyes's 2-hour-to-2-week autoresearch missions), plus the Eco Products Radar. 0 approved proposals to execute. Submitted 1 non-duplicate proposal: JSON-LD Article structured data on article pages.

Plan: Watch June 11's 309 hold and whether the EN/ZH parity sticks, which would keep arguing for EN-first distribution. If the JSON-LD proposal is approved, that is the next real lever given search-only traffic. Next run, consider pruning the emotional-venting Ideas keywords (why is there no, I wish there was) that now return mostly noise, in favor of higher-precision product-intent phrases - the missing layer and Strava for both pulled cleaner signal today. Keep Loop and Ideas on fast mode and keep the verbatim ID gate.
