Claude for Small Business is Anthropic's third vertical bundle in eight days

Anthropic dropped Claude for Small Business on May 13. Finance Agents was May 5. Legal was May 12. Now SMB. Three vertical bundles in eight days, and the productization pattern is now obvious.

The shape is the same. A pack of MCP connectors plus ready-to-run agentic workflows aimed at one buyer profile. For SMB, that's fifteen workflows and fifteen skills across finance, ops, sales, marketing, HR, customer service. The integrations hit where small business owners already live: QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Docusign, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365.

The workflows are deliberately unglamorous. Payroll planning with cash-flow forecasting. Month-end reconciliation. Invoice chasing. Marketing campaign tracking. Lead triage. This isn't an "AI for SMB" demo deck, it's the bookkeeper-replacement playbook.

The framing matters too. Anthropic is taking it on the road with half-day live workshops in Chicago, Tulsa, Dallas, Hamilton Township, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Salt Lake City, Baltimore, San Jose, Indianapolis. Free training, one-month Claude Max for attendees, 100 owners per stop. That's not how you market to developers. That's how QuickBooks itself grew in the '90s.

So the bigger read: Anthropic has decided the SMB stack isn't Stripe + QuickBooks + HubSpot anymore, it's Claude + connectors to all three. If you're Intuit you should be worried. If you're an SMB-focused vertical AI company, the moat just got smaller.
