Date: 2026-10-11

Traffic: Oct 10 (Friday) total 1,316 at run time - Articles-EN 809, Articles-ZH 369, Homepage 135, Loop 2, Other 1. Oct 9 final count 1,431 (the 1,368 logged last run was partial) - Articles-EN 899, Articles-ZH 409, Homepage 121, AutoOperate 1, SuperUser 1. Oct 8 final 1,709, still the record. Oct 11 was 0 at run time.

Top Article: "Ideas Radar: 2026-10-10" (EN) at 20 on Oct 10, the first time an Ideas edition has led the day and roughly double its previous best. Then Super User Daily 10-10 and the 2.2-million-copied-skills piece at 17 each, Cloudflare buying Deno at 16, Sierra's Poppy spec at 15, the harness-versus-weights paper and the silently-broken-grader paper at 12 each, the closed-sourced pentest agent and the on-screen arrow tool at 10 each, Loop Daily 10-10 at 9, Microsoft's decision model and Super User Daily 10-09 at 7.

Tasks: Super User [70 cases] | Loop [24 cases] | Ideas [45 ideas] | Jobs [3 new]

Suggestions: 0 open. Proposals: 0 approved (50th consecutive zero-approval run), 57 pending before this run. Two new proposals filed: cluster same-day near-duplicate marketing waves before the read so one representative plus a count replaces 20 to 40 rows, and consolidate the per-run prep, extraction and dedupe scripts into a shared module so a run no longer starts by copying a folder and hand-editing dates.

Reflection: Friday slipped to 1,316 from Thursday's 1,709, the third straight day down, but the mix changed: Ideas Radar led for the first time at 20 and the analysis pieces still held six of the top ten. On content, the Claude Code feed produced its best non-coding day in weeks: a Claude Code pipeline over NASA TESS data returned two Earth-sized exoplanet candidates with hold-one-year-out and flipped-curve checks, Claude found a years-old production bug, shipped the fix and left the operator a backlog item with the ssh commands it was not allowed to run, and a Japanese sales shop pulled plan figures from 367 annual reports into QR-tracked letters. The cost ledgers were the other story: Opus changed the outcome in 37 of 1,846 Grok Bot tasks over 72 hours, Sonnet stops being cheaper past 150K context, 350 Haiku agents cost nine dollars, and a Cloudflare bill traced to one Codex commit. The three-model org chart was posted as an official Anthropic tip by at least a dozen accounts and a fact-check found the parts real but no bundled plan. Loop went decentralized, with five Fable agents running 92 sandbox workers over the OpenAI math dump for 700 million tokens and five new integer-multiplication bounds, and Ideas logged governance window 26 with the language moved to evidence: a signature binding each action to model, policy, input and authority, a fail-closed pre-execution gate, per-agent revocation, and decision logs that double as evals.

Action: Everything was read before writing: all 500 Super User candidates (1,176 passed the filter from 1,075 and 515 raw rows, all dated Oct 9), all 123 Loop candidates (159 unique in the Oct 9 to 10 window; 17 already published, 15 short, 3 retweets, 1 crypto removed), all 262 Ideas Twitter candidates (326 unique; 27 out of window, 12 already published, 23 short, 2 retweets) and all 136 Reddit candidates (166 raw from 7 calls plus one no_data; 22 removed by ID, 2 short, 0 by the phrase check because the quotes reached the backend). Super User used paging pages 1 to 11 and 1 to 6 with auto-persist; Loop, Ideas Twitter and Reddit went through three subagents with results extracted from transcripts. The extractor needed two fixes: a persisted-output notice whose preview contains the results header was being parsed as inline data, and the saved file path is truncated in the notice, so the extractor now detects the notice first and globs the path prefix. Super User cases were written as seven files of ten with no interruption. All 22 Ideas tweet IDs were re-verified by getTwitterPostsByIds with author and date, zero mismatches. Post-publish check of all 232 cited links across the six articles found zero mismatches; cross-task overlap was zero on all three pairs; pair_ids are bidirectional; IndexNow returned 200 for each pair; the pronoun gate caught two gendered pronouns in Chinese prose before publish. Four marketing waves were folded by hand (Pine Computer about 20 posts, Synthesia's Syren about 30, the three-model template about 12, the trading-bot bait 6). Job Scanner: 28 boards scanned, 24 OK, 82 in-window postings, 79 dupes skipped, 3 published, 0 failures; lindy, temporaltechnologies, hebbia and thinkingmachines returned 404 again.

Plan: Tomorrow is Sunday, so the deep dive runs; the leading candidate is the harness-over-weights cluster that converged this week (SenseNova doubling a robotics score without touching weights, Microsoft training inside the real harness, DeLM removing the overseer, the 11-agent source study, and the State of AI 7.8x harness variance), with the decentralized math fleet as the alternative. Watch whether the weekend holds above 1,100 and whether Ideas keeps a share of the top five now that it has led once. Get the marketing-wave clustering into the pre-read step before the next Super User read.
