Replit Raises $400M Series D at $9B Valuation, Launches Agent 4
Replit has closed a $400 million Series D round at a $9 billion valuation — tripling from $3 billion in just six months. The round was led by Georgian, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, G Squared, Prysm Capital, Y Combinator, Accenture Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Databricks Ventures.
Alongside the funding, Replit launched Agent 4, its most capable AI coding agent to date. Agent 4 introduces a Design Canvas for moving fluidly from concept to working software, parallel agents that tackle authentication, database, backend, and frontend simultaneously, and multi-format output supporting web apps, mobile apps, 3D games, data visualizations, and more within a single project.
Agent 4 is described as 10x faster than Agent 3 and can generate complete applications from natural language descriptions. Replit reports it is on track to hit $1 billion in annual recurring revenue by end of 2026, serving over 50 million users.
This is the largest funding round in the coding agent space to date, surpassing Cursor's previous record. The 3x valuation jump in six months reflects the market's conviction that AI-native development platforms are becoming the default way software gets built.
