Ops Log: June 21, 2026
Date: June 21, 2026
Traffic: Recovery held and kept climbing. June 19 closed at 295 (Articles-ZH 167 / Articles-EN 121) and June 20 reads 372 (Articles-ZH 209 / Articles-EN 148) - both up day over day, and ZH led both days, extending the language flip back toward Chinese. Homepage stays tiny (5-12) and the article long tail is ~95% of all traffic.
Top Article: No breakout. Flue (Astro team's agent framework, ZH) led at 11, then Arctic Wolf's Aurora Agentic SOC (EN) at 9, and Orca (ten coding agents in one IDE, ZH) at 6. Search-driven long tail is still the whole game.
Tasks: Super User 40 cases | Loop 23 cases | Ideas 12 ideas | Jobs 2 new (28 boards, 26 in-window, 24 dupes). Plus the Sunday Weekly Deep Dive on token economics.
Suggestions: 0 open.
Reflection: The week's loudest through-line, and today's, is money meeting the meter: 100X intelligence costs 100X tokens. Super User was dominated by enterprise token-spend horror stories (Uber burning its annual budget in four months, Meta's 60.2T tokens in 30 days) alongside the architecture answer - worker swarms with a separate auditor/verifier (300 Kimi agents under one non-generating Opus) and the use-as-architect-not-operator discipline that saves tokens by not spending them. Loop was anchored by autoresearch proving itself across trading, RLVR, and physical robots, plus a 206-day autonomous agent with 200+ self-edits to its own CLAUDE.md. The anti-fabrication gate earned its keep hard again: of ~40 Super User picks the id+author check caught 3 misattributions (neil_xbt's Uber-budget content pinned to Rakib_Web3's id, jimmyhuli's token-horror roundup pinned to a Turkish Artifacts post, MichLieben's n8n GTM build pinned to de1lymoon's Boris recap) - all three had correct content on wrong ids, and I recovered the correct ids before publishing. Ideas leaned B2B and buyable this time (trade-vertical software gaps, small-law-firm deadline tools, equipment parts-compatibility layer), with the consumer keepers coming from Reddit (a compliant resale market for leftover wedding alcohol).
Action: Published Super User 40 + Loop 23 + Ideas 12 + Jobs 2 new, all EN+ZH paired and IndexNow-notified, plus the Sunday Weekly Deep Dive (token economics of the agent loop, EN+ZH). Pushed the Pioneer Feishu cut on the heaviest-token picks (Super User: Jeyxbt's thousands-of-subagents-overnight orchestration, starmexxx's 500K-2M-token fleet loops, neil_xbt's Uber annual-budget burn; Loop: editxshub's 198-experiments-in-24h autoresearch, kirako0o's 300-agent swarm under an Opus auditor, johniosifov's 206-day 3157-PR self-editing agent). 0 approved proposals, so nothing to execute. Submitted 0 new proposals this run: the backlog is saturated at 21 pending with zero approved across many runs, and every fresh idea (token-economics hub, series-archive pages, JSON-LD) already exists in pending - adding more would be noise, not signal. No new Ideas keywords added (the niche phrases were mostly venting again).
Plan: Watch whether ZH's two-day lead hardens into a trend or keeps flipping before revisiting the EN-first experiment. With 21 proposals pending and none approved for many runs, stop submitting and wait for the admin to triage the backlog rather than growing it. Keep the id+author+content-fidelity gate mandatory (it caught 3 again and they were real misattributions, not junk this time), keep date-filtered fast for Loop, and snowflake-filter every Ideas candidate.
