T3 Code is Theo's minimal browser GUI for Codex and Claude

Theo (pingdotgg) just dropped T3 Code—a bare-metal web UI for driving coding agents. Currently wraps Codex and Claude, more coming.

What's the pitch? CLI agents are powerful but ergonomically brutal. Most GUIs either lock you to one vendor or bury you in features. T3 Code is a thin layer: pick an agent, hand it a task, watch it work. That's it.

The repo went from zero to 9.6k stars fast, 1.8k forks, 36 releases since launch, v0.0.20 shipped April 17. Heavy contribution activity—407 open issues, 333 pending PRs. Not stable yet; they're saying "expect bugs" and aren't taking PRs.

Why it stands out: Theo has a following. A GUI that treats Codex and Claude as interchangeable backends points at where this market is heading—agent runtime is the commodity, the interface is what locks you in. If someone's going to build the "Postman for coding agents," it'll look like this.
