Wonderful Raises $550M Series C at $5B, Doubling in Six Months

Wonderful closed a $550 million Series C on September 2 at a $5 billion valuation, led by Insight Partners with Salesforce, Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer participating. The Israeli-Dutch company was worth less than half that at its Series B in March. Doubling a multi-billion valuation in under six months is the kind of curve that usually means revenue is doing something similar.

What they sell: software that coordinates AI agents for enterprises β€” started in customer service, now pitched as a full "AI operating system." Since March they've expanded to 35+ markets and 650 employees. The interesting part of the story is the repositioning: every successful vertical-agent company seems to hit the same fork, where the agents themselves commoditize and the durable product becomes the layer that deploys, coordinates, and supervises them. Wonderful picked the coordination layer, and investors just priced that choice at $5 billion.

Salesforce Ventures on the cap table is worth noting β€” same investor that led 8090's coding-agent round earlier this year. The incumbent that owns enterprise customer-service software is systematically buying stakes in the companies most likely to disrupt it.
