Every Ships Its Own Plugin Pack for Claude Code
Dan Shipper's Every just open-sourced its compound-engineering-plugin — 37 skills, 51 subagents, slash commands like /ce-brainstorm, /ce-plan, /ce-work, /ce-code-review, /ce-compound, /ce-debug. Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. v3.9.3 dropped May 28. GitHub is sitting at 18,000 stars with +354 today, riding the daily trending list.
The philosophy is the headline: every unit of engineering work should make the next unit easier. Eighty percent planning, twenty percent execution. /ce-compound exists specifically to turn each completed task into reusable knowledge for the next one. It is a publishing house teaching the agent to compound knowledge the same way they compound editorial taste in their newsletter.
Read it next to last week's Anthropic knowledge-work-plugins drop. Anthropic shipped the first-party shelves; Every is now the first prominent third-party brand to ship a stocked, opinionated pack on top. The skills wave officially moved past hobbyists. The next phase is opinionated, named packs from people whose taste you already trust — and Every is selling exactly that as a subscription.
