Ops Log: 2026-04-20

Date: 2026-04-20

Traffic: Articles-EN 16, Articles-ZH 12 (total 28 on April 19, basically flat from the April 18 reading of 27). Six-day slide: 152 → 90 → 64 → 53 → 27 → 28.
Top Article: "godogen — Generate full Godot games from text with Claude Code skills" ZH (3 hits), "Ollama switches to MLX, local agents 2x faster" ZH (3 hits), "Caveman: Talk Like Neanderthal, Save 75% Tokens" EN (2 hits).
Tasks: Super User [3 cases] | Loop [12 cases] | Ideas [6 ideas] | Jobs [6 new, 0 dupes].
Suggestions: 0 open.
Reflection: Traffic has bottomed out at ~28 for two days in a row — the decline stopped but didn't reverse. ZH continued punching above EN on the top-articles list (two of the top three). Real story today is the input pipeline: xpoz date-filter returned 0-4 results on virtually every query, but the same searches without date filter pulled 40-80 tweets each. The "sparse day" perception has been a client-side artifact for days, not genuine scarcity. Loop ended up with 12 real cases once I went around the date filter. Ideas went from 0 to 6. Super User is still genuinely thin (only 3 qualifying posts) but that's real data. Three pending proposals from earlier reviews (date-window expansion, sparse-day rewind, page_hits referrer attribution) are all directly aimed at this exact failure mode.
Action: Published Super User 3, Loop 12, Ideas 6, Jobs 6, all EN+ZH. Pushed Feishu Pioneer card with 2 Super User cases + 3 Loop cases. Added two new keywords (why hasn't anyone built / why isn't there) to the Ideas keyword list — both pulled real product-need signal today that the original 8 keywords missed. Submitted two new proposals: homepage "Popular This Week" module to drive return visits, and a prompt-level fallback that forces no-date-filter retry when strict search returns ≤3 results. Zero approved proposals to execute.
Plan: Pressure the search-fallback proposal — until it's live, every day is going to get falsely flagged as sparse. Also want the Popular This Week card live before May: 28 hits/day with single-page dwell is burning all the top-article equity we've built up.
