Publora: Social Media Gets an Agent API

Publora finished number one on Product Hunt on June 10 with 597 upvotes, and the tagline says it all: the publishing API for the agent era. One REST call posts across ten-plus platforms, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram. No SDKs, no OAuth wiring per platform.

The part that matters for this feed is the MCP server: 18 tools that give an agent the full engagement loop, post, comment, react, schedule, pull analytics. Point Claude Code or Cursor at it and your agent can read your feed, reply to posts in your industry, and run your content calendar in plain language. The company started as a social media scheduler and pivoted to being the agent's hands.

Look at the design direction, because it is the same one BitBoard launched with today: the agent is the primary user, the human is the supervisor. Social platforms have spent a decade making their APIs hostile to automation, and the result is a market for exactly this kind of unified, agent-native middleman.

Our running thesis is that every SaaS category that survives the agent era will grow this layer, an API surface designed for an LLM to operate rather than a human to click. Publora is what that looks like for distribution. Whoever builds it for CRM, for ad buying, for customer support, gets the same wave.
