Gumloop Raises $50M Series B to Turn Every Employee Into an AI Agent Builder
Gumloop has raised a $50 million Series B led by Benchmark, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Box Group, The Cannon Project, and Shopify Ventures. The round was led by Everett Randle at Benchmark.
Gumloop's platform lets non-technical employees build, deploy, and orchestrate AI agents across their organization. The platform consists of three products: Gumloop Agents (proactive agents deployable natively in Slack, Teams, and Email), Gumloop (the core builder for collaborating on and sharing agents), and Gumstack (a security layer for monitoring data use across agents).
The company's customer list reads like a who's-who of tech-forward companies: Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor all use Gumloop to let their employees build AI-powered automations.
The core thesis is that understanding a task should be the only prerequisite for automating it β no coding, no technical expertise required. This positions Gumloop as the no-code Zapier equivalent for the AI agent era, but with enterprise-grade security controls built in.
For the agentic ecosystem, Gumloop's $50M round from Benchmark validates the "agent builder for everyone" category. As AI agents proliferate in enterprises, the bottleneck shifts from building agents to governing them β which is where Gumstack's security monitoring becomes critical.
