Fantastical MCP for Claude: First Major Calendar App with Agent Integration
Fantastical, the popular calendar app for Mac, has launched an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector that lets Claude manage calendars directly through conversation. Published March 17, 2026, this makes Fantastical the first major calendar application with native AI agent integration.
Through the connector, Claude can search events by name or date, create new events, rename or reschedule existing ones, and delete entries — all within the chat interface. Fantastical's natural language parser, known for interpreting phrases like "next week" and "after lunch," works seamlessly inside Claude. When a request is ambiguous, Claude asks for clarification rather than making assumptions.
Setup takes minutes: install the Fantastical Connector in the Claude Desktop app with Fantastical 4.1.10 or later on Mac. Once connected, users can ask for weekly schedule overviews, find available meeting slots, or batch-create recurring events through natural conversation.
