QA Crow gives indie devs a 50 dollar QA agent instead of a 8K SaaS

QA Crow launched on Product Hunt today. The pitch is plain English QA tests run by an AI agent, with screenshots and reproduction steps in the bug report. The pricing is the part that should make incumbents nervous.

Most AI QA platforms in this category are gated behind enterprise sales motions. Eight thousand a month minimums, sales calls before you can see pricing, twelve-month contracts. QA Crow is pay as you go, no minimum, no sales call, no contract. The maker is positioning explicitly against that wall, and the website backs it up.

The agent itself is tuned for QA work. You write a test plan in English, the agent reviews it for quality, then executes against your live app using real browser automation. MCP support is on the roadmap, which means you will eventually be able to ask Claude or Cursor to write the test plan for you while you are coding the feature.

The interesting structural bet is that the bottom of the QA market has been ignored because nobody could justify a sales team for 50 dollars a month customers. Once an AI agent does the work, the math flips. Every solo developer and 5-person startup that used to write tests by hand or skip them entirely now becomes addressable. The ceiling on this category just got a lot higher.
