NeuBird AI Raises $19.3M to Put Agentic AI on SRE Duty

Engineers spend 40% of their time managing incidents instead of building products. Nearly 80% of companies report burnout among on-call staff. NeuBird AI just raised $19.3 million to replace that cycle with autonomous agents.

Founded by Gou Rao (CEO) and Vinod Jayaraman (CTO) — both veterans who have built and scaled three enterprise infrastructure companies — NeuBird builds agentic AI that analyzes telemetry data, correlates signals across systems, and provides real-time root cause analysis and remediation. Their latest addition, the Falcon engine, adds predictive risk detection and infrastructure cost optimization before incidents even happen.

The numbers since GA in December 2024: over 1 million alerts resolved, more than $2 million in engineering hours saved, and up to 90% reduction in mean time to resolution. That is not a demo. That is production.

The round was led by Xora Innovation and oversubscribed, with existing investors Mayfield, StepStone Group, Prosperity7 Ventures, and M12 (Microsoft venture fund) all participating. The capital goes toward product innovation and global go-to-market expansion.

What makes NeuBird interesting is not the AI for ops pitch — everyone has that now. It is the measured ROI in live environments. A million resolved alerts is a concrete number that enterprise buyers can benchmark against their own incident volume. When your agent saves $2M in engineering time with a 90% MTTR reduction, the sales conversation becomes very short.
