NanoClaw Partners with Docker to Sandbox AI Agents in MicroVMs

NanoClaw and Docker have announced an integration that lets teams run AI agents inside disposable, MicroVM-based Docker Sandboxes — making NanoClaw the first claw-based agent platform deployable inside Docker's sandbox infrastructure with a single command.

NanoClaw wraps Claude Code with an orchestration layer that handles scheduled tasks, persistent memory, channel integrations (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord), and routes each message to the correct agent. With this Docker integration, every agent runs in its own container (can't see other agents' data) inside a micro VM (can't touch the host machine), enforcing strong OS-level isolation.

Since launching last month, NanoClaw has surpassed 20,000 GitHub stars and 100,000 downloads, positioning itself as a production-ready, security-first alternative to OpenClaw. The Docker partnership addresses one of the biggest obstacles to enterprise agent adoption: giving agents room to act without giving them room to damage surrounding systems.

The integration was announced March 13, 2026, and involves no financial component — it emerged organically from the developer community.
