Verdent 2.0 wants to be your AI technical cofounder
Solo founder tools keep trying to rename themselves. First it was no-code, then vibe coding, then AI engineer. Verdent 2.0 launched today calling itself a technical cofounder. The pitch is less cute than it sounds.
You describe what to build in plain language. Verdent plans the work, runs parallel tasks, remembers your project across sessions, keeps shipping when you sleep, and acts like a PM on top of a code-writing agent. Think of it as Factory or Devin, but pointed at one-person companies instead of engineering orgs. The team includes Adrian Liu, Ben Lang, Chris Zheng and Charlene He β names from the YC and indie founder side of the world.
The category crowding is real. Cursor, Claude Code, Factory, Fixa, T3 Code all have some version of this now. What makes Verdent different is the framing β not a coding assistant for engineers, but a co-founder for non-coders who want a real product. That's a narrower wedge but a more durable one if they nail it.
Worth watching whether solo founders actually ship businesses with this. If yes, it quietly redefines what "startup" means. If no, it's another AI PM.
